Hone In is a trading journal. This policy explains exactly what it stores, where that data lives, who else can see it, and how to get it back or delete it.
Hone In contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, and no third-party tracker in the app. Nothing you do inside Hone In is measured or reported to us or to anyone else.

Everything you enter about a trade: instrument symbol, direction, entry and exit prices, stop-loss, target, quantity, dates, fees, strategy and psychology tags, and your written notes. If you attach chart screenshots, those images are stored too.
This is the content of the product. We store it so it is there when you open the app on another device, and for no other purpose.
A copy of your trades is cached on your phone so the app works offline and opens quickly. It is removed when you sign out or delete the app.
We use a small number of services to run Hone In. Each is listed with exactly what it receives.

The optional weekly review reminder is a local notification, scheduled by your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, no push token is created, and we cannot see whether you have it switched on.
Images you attach are held in private storage. They are not public, are not indexed, and are reachable only through short-lived links issued to your signed-in account. If you paste a link to an image hosted elsewhere, that image stays where it is and is subject to that host's policy.
Settings → Data → Export all trades (CSV) produces a complete copy of every trade you have logged. It is free, needs no subscription, and opens in any spreadsheet. Exporting is a right, not a feature we charge for.
Settings → Danger zone → Delete account permanently removes your account, every trade, your tags, your chart images and your profile. It happens immediately and cannot be reversed by you or by us. No copy is retained.
Every field is editable in the app at any time. If you would rather we acted on your behalf, email support@gethone.in and we will respond within 30 days.
Your trades are kept until you delete them or delete your account. Deleted trades are retained briefly as a deletion marker so the removal reaches your other devices, then permanently erased. Account emails are retained by our email provider for a short period for delivery diagnostics.
For users in the EEA and UK, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the journal) and on the basis of your consent for optional features. For users in India, we process personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as a Data Fiduciary.
Data is stored on servers operated by Supabase. By using Hone In you consent to this processing. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
Hone In is not intended for anyone under 18. It is a record-keeping tool for people who already trade, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to your data is enforced at the database level, so a request authenticated as one account cannot read another's rows. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but we hold as little as possible, which is the most effective protection available.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
